The Willis Towers Watson 2018 Pensions and Savings Conference

We are delighted to announce that we will be holding our annual Pensions and Savings Conference on Wednesday, 23 May 2018 at the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square, London.

The theme of this year’s conference is Tomorrow’s World: Working towards improved retirement outcomes, and this will be the main focus of the conference content.

The event will help stimulate your thinking, allow you to share experiences and give you some creative ideas for your future retirement agendas. The programme highlights will include:

  • A thought-provoking session from our keynote speaker, Roger Bootle, Advisor to the House of Commons Treasury Committee.
  • Interactive panel discussions with industry leaders, including, Allan Johnston, Chairman at British Steel Pension Scheme; Rory Murphy, Chair of Trustees, Merchant Navy Officers Pension Fund; Chris Martin, Chair of Trustees, BHS Pension Scheme and Independent Trustee, Carillion Pension Scheme; and Fiona Frobisher, Head of Policy, The Pensions Regulator.
  • The inside track on the defined benefit (DB) White Paper from Dave Roberts, Willis Towers Watson.
  • In-depth breakout sessions about pension scheme consolidation, journey planning, member transfers and managing a scheme when in the regulatory spotlight. A number of client case studies will be included in the breakouts.
  • The launch and analysis of results from our "2018 Defined Benefit Survey: Where next for DB?". Please take the survey if you haven’t already done so.

Following the event, we will be hosting drinks and canapés, giving you a further opportunity to network with your peers.
